Biography:
Protagonist of the Franco-Belgian music scene of the 90s and Noughties, Roddy spent several years honing his DJing skills in the south of Belgium and north of France, notably at the renowned Club H2O and Zoo Club. His first single 'What Else' - released in 2008 under the pop pseudonym Telemode - was a big success, but by then Roddy had decided to focus his energies solely on making progressive house.
In 2010 he signed his first EP, 'Fellowcraft', to the prestigious Anjunadeep, the progressive house sister label to Above and Beyond's Anjunabeats. This was swiftly followed by 'Fremou/Zerga' and the huge 'Brotherhood', a collaboration with Roddy's lifelong friend, Man Of Goodwill. Jaytech and James Grant supported Roddy's releases and played them at their biggest gigs, including Transmission 2010, Brixton Academy, Anjunadeep 03 launch parties in London and New York, the Tomorrowland festival and more.
More recently dubbed 'The French Eric Prydz', Roddy's harmonious combination of French and British styles has caught the attention and gained the support of those music fans who love melodic and flowing music that fits neatly between house and progressive house.
2012 will show without doubt the artist's loyalty to his record label: Anjunadeep all the way!
