Biography:
Alexei Tsygankov, more known as UCast, is a young belarusian DJ and producer, the author of a large number of tracks and remixes in the style of uplifting trance. At the age of 10, UCast discovered the world of electronic music for himself after buying the album of Scooter. Alexei's musical taste was influenced by George Acosta and his radioshow Lost World, Armin Van Buuren and A State of Trance and favourite compilation In search of Sunrise from Tiesto. In 2004 UCast began to visit clubs, and later he become interested in DJing. His first independent performance took place at the beginning of 2007 in the famous Minsk club called Reactor. At the same time UCast decided for himself that he would not stop exclusively on the DJing because he didn't want to play other people's tracks only, but also wanted to create his own music. Having quickly mastered software for writing music, Alexei wrote his first track called "Through Depth", which was released on 1 July, 2007 on the Russian label "4 Seasons Records". It was released on a CD at the beginning of 2008. After he steeped in music, UCast plays in different Minsk clubs and continue writing music, published on the well-known labels. And in 2008 his tracks were played on the radioshows of such well-known producers as Tiesto and David Guetta. He had an excellent opportunity to try himself in broadcasting in 2009. UCast received a letter from TFM Radio with a proposal to do the show. So the first release of the Injection Radioshow with UCast took place on 6 July, 2009. In 2010 UCast together with the belarusian project PooNyk&Oxide launched their own label called LiftedSound Records, which is fast developing now. To the present moment Alexei has been published on such labels as Full Access, Bitter Sweet, Only One Records, Sundesire Records, Tranceport, 4 Seasons, Elliptical, Ora, Mainframe, Finity. His works were supported by Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, David Guetta, Aly & Fila, Roger Shah, Mark Sherry, M.I.K.E., Pedro Del Mar, Ronski Speed, etc. Also UCast has played on the same stage with DJs like ATB, Cosmic Gate, Sander Van Doorn, Mark Eteson, Andy Moor, Dj Feel.
