Biography:
Illinoize (Ilija Resetar) and Kaloo (Luka Djukic) at Serbian club scene are known as a duo “Ministry Of Ducks”. Showing interest for electronic music since they were boys, their entering in dj ing job showed as a logical result and as things are going on now-they are more than succesful. It is not strange that they are counted as one of the most talented and perspective dj’s in Serbia. According to the sound which they use the most on their live performances, they are seen as a real refreshment in domestic and also abroad club sphere. After many performances in Montenegro they are coming to Belgrade and starting to intensify their cooperation and as a result of it in the end of 2009 they are becoming back-2-back project “Ministry Of Ducks”. Sound on which they base their parties can be described as melodic progressive house with elements of tech house. Their standard repertoire involves productions of artists like “Helvetic nerds”(Leventina, Daniel Portman, Rino Cabrera, Dinka, Edx, Stanley Ross, Passenger 10), Mark Knight, Stan Kolev, Claes Rosen, Ted Nilsson, Ben Preston). If we are looking for two words which can describe the essence of their access to live club set we must say: briskness and melodiousness. Going against dominant club trends they are inventing new way of communication with club auditorium-through melodiousness and various themes which their sets look like. Reaction of clubbers on that new approach is always shown as more than positive: hands in the air during the whole night, dancing, which is the result of fantastic progress of sound, excited faces of people which are expecting a new melody in break; in short, roasting of dance floor is a typical view during the performance of those guys. We can surely say that rhythm, amazing melodies, an incredible dose of energy of act of “M.O.D.” is something that hasn't been seen before on any club scene. They are having their performances in clubs like “Soul”(Novi Sad), “Compressor”(Novi Sad), “Trach”(Belgrade), “Caffe In”(Loznica). During the summer of 2010 they will have their performance in one of the best clubs at Balkans, prestige discotheque “Maximus”, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, Netherlands and UK. At the same time they have a successful career of radio dj-ing. On a real saint place for all progressive house lovers all over the world, waves of American radio “pure fm”, Illinoize is a host of one hour show – “Mind Progression”. After a few of first episodes, with their well known melodic progressive sound and many exclusiveness which set is full of from episode to episode, show already became a typical brand. But this is not the end of those guy’s ambitions. They are entering in a world of production and first official Kaloo remix for world hit single Jody Wisternoff’s "Startstrings", with many positive feedbacks ,through some of labels is approaching to edm market. Judging according to all of this and looking for new experiences of Serbian and European clubbing, it is left to us just one word to say: you should look those boys.....Bright future is waiting for them!
