Biography:
It all started for DownPat (Pat McKeever) in a small town thrift store with a pair of mismatched $20 turntable's and a vintage house record from 1988 purchased for $1.00. Now a music head of over a decade, DownPat has played and partied to the vast range of genres that the bay area of California is fortunate enough to enjoy. After moving to San Francisco to obtain his formal degree he found a home in the local scene and considers himself fortunate in being able to promote local electronic music events alongside some of the longtime supporters of dance music as well as upcoming talent. Get a taste of his unique sound by tuning into his monthly podcast (The GetDown) and radio show (Amidst Rhythm on Pure.FM) where DownPat explores a variety of techno and main-room house to listeners across the globe.
